Fan is a tad loud, but unless your right next to it. One thing this charge controller is noisy when receiving over 12 amps from the solar panels.
Sept 6. Awg size is not a problem at all. It worths the $. Edit*** 11/5/2020been 3 months now and so far perfect.
New unit seems to be working great. All green lights but will be monitoring regularly. Fired right up and provided great performance.
Cons
Emails sent to the mfg ( ampinvt ) in china, no response. No tech support involved where you can call.
Buy 3 40amp epever tracer bn instead of this garbage.
