Pros

The overall look is not super appealing - it is a pale olive green lumpy paste, but i'm not complaining. Perfect amount of spice and not super salty.

Cons

No, it's not outdated, supposed to be good until 2022. The downside is that it's way too expensive when buying it online. The paste is all over the inside of the box and cannot be used. It also is non returnable!

Pesto should be oily, but this is more like a fast-food greasy sensation. No garlic flavor.

The tube seals nicely and the ingredients keep for a long time

Easy to use to thicken up soups spaghetti vs canned paste that always tastes metallic in the cans

Even if it’s supposed to improve the texture and give more tomato punch pastes are always nasty flavored

It isnt designed like a toothpaste tube the metal is stiff and can crack forcing paste out onto ones hand rather than into the pot

One could spend less buying a can but this tube of tomato paste has proved lower cost overall for us

I am not a vegan but i do not eat cheese and most packaged pesto has cheese in it

Good product but packaging inadequate box it came in was crushed

Now my grocery switched to another italian import brand also in a tube so i tried it… yeah gross
