Pros

This desk is what it is, a inexpensive craft or student desk. But none are noticeable during daily use of the desk so i don't mind for the price. She absolutely loves her desk and it has helped organize her room.

It's important remember to be gentle when assembling, it’s very easy to chip the particle board. I'm the one who assembled it. Directions are super simple to follow. It's a little complicated as the instructions are mostly pictures.

If you're looking for something pristine and perfect, that's the price range you need to be shopping in. The finish is cheap and has minor blemishes. It’s sturdy enough for the price.

Cons

The boards were scratched and broken in places. The partical board turns into sawdust as you place the cam bolts. The panels themselves are cheap and mines had scratches on them. There was not nearly enough wood glue for the dowels.

The agent who i have been exchanging emails with reassured me that it is a system generated email that i should ignore. The product came completely destroyed in the packaging.

This product was damaged and was missing 6 pieces as well as the screws to assemble it. It is most inconvenient to return an assembled and heavy unit. Not enough dowels and screws.

I found the instructions easy to follow and the desk feels very sturdy

Several marks on various pieceseasy assemblywood pieces wouldn’t stay even after applying the wood glue provided and allowing dry time

The backboards on the shelves were not evenly cut so they do not apply evenly and looks choppy after assembly

Price

Bought this for my craft room higher end desks of this design run 300400 so this is a deal

Solid wood would cost hundreds of dollars more

I was a little nervous given the terrible reviews but thought it was a good enough price to try it out and i can say i’m not disappointed

If youre looking for something pristine and perfect thats the price range you need to be shopping in

Shipping

One unit was shipped without any hardware but i contacted the company and they shipped one out within a couple of days no problem

However mine didn’t come with any shipping damages

Packaging/appearance

Product was well packaged with easy to read instructions and all the components present and labeled

It looks just like the photo and is prettier in person than i expected
