The silver is very sleek looking. Meets all the expectations.

The thing is cheaply made and doesn't work at all. Sadly, this is the latest in a series of dead or barely alive scales i have ordered fro this manufacturer through amazon.

All they do is take the black unit and give it a cheap rattlecan job of silver spraypaint that looks and smells cheap as can be

The unit already had a factory skiff in one of the corners and i dont think the silver will last all to long

Of course if your only concern is functionality and the silver one is cheaper then i guess its up to you to decide if 50 cents is worth it for a slightly less cosmetic unit

I bought two of them almost a decade ago and they have been thoroughly abused and smacked around mercilessly yet every time i calibrate them i find there was pretty much no reason to do so
