Pros

Repair kit is the only way to go if your american standard toilet has a flush valve leak. I almost have proof korky's seal does way, way better than oem seal in north tx.

Took about 5 minutes to install. Helped avoid common installation errors. Finally, the leak is stopped.

Cons

The gasket is a milky white, not blue as pictured. The original red gasket has neither of these.

In the meantime, don't waste your money on these. Requested return/refund and received by amazon. Will not buy again.

The american standard toilet leaks more now than ever. Better to spend your money buying water company stock, or replacing with a different brand of toilet.

The factory rings develop these little air pockets or blisters in them and which allows for a minor leak from the tank to the bowl

The “new and improved” refill hose clip solved the only issue that i’d had with this toilet prior to this

3 of them developed a seal leak within 6 months which caused this gross black and brown color to nearly stain the porcelain

With a bad unit my water bill almost doubled in one month the direction for replacing the unit were great for a novice

I had to spend extra money to fix a new flush valve

Value for money is not that great

It solved my problem i just think it is a bit expensive

If you have a toilet that was shipped after 2020 you may have the new onepiece valve top like the one pictured with my review

These are the right ones to use for the american standard toilets

I tried others from the big box home repair stores and they leaked
