    While i dont think that this magazine is the ultimate authority on the civil war it does bring to light a wide variety of topics and issues that are either not covered by texts at all or are so buried in them that the information is next to impossible to distill out

    One thing that specialty history magazines such as this are able to do is broach heretofore untreated subjects and issues in a summary if incomplete manner that would take years to produce via a published text

    A great letter to the editor section and also not bad advertisements of many articles that a person would want to purchase are just a few to the many positive things this magazine publishes throught the year
