It stands alone, defiant. The processor operates at 4. Worth it. This one is still a bit pricey, but not complaining.

This is a great cpu if you're doing a lot of heavy lift work. It also has tons of bandwidth to pcie devices. Not a gaming oriented processor, but obviously still does it quite well. Great for vms as well as streaming from 1 cpu at the same time.

Have not seen any throttling, even when running large hadron collider software (via boinc) with 95% cpu utilization for days at a time. A 30-way clean build finishes in 3. Hours. It is expensive, but fast.

The only flaw, and downside to these amd ryzen processors is the x570 motherboards. Great processor, amazing price and amazing performance. Outstanding beast of a processor. Best processor ever for the price. This cpu is a beast.
