Pros
This dongle works as advertised. My only gripe is i wish it had a longer lead on the usb type c plug.
Works great with a chromebook. Allows me to connect my wired network to my laptop. Works with a controller plugged in while streaming.
Cons
I never know when it's going to work or how many times i might need to unplug and reconnect the device until it will work. Will suddenly disconnect for no reason. I would recommend thinking twice before purchasing this if you're expecting it to work f... Read More

The usb-c plug works just like my other usb 3.

Worked well and the price was right.
Packaging/appearance
It was a bonus to get the the usb-a ports.
Competitiveness
I also use it occasionally with my desktop (my asrock b450 steel legend motherboard has usb-c) and it works well there too.
Works for me like a docking station at half the cost.
I have a lenovo 2-in-1 flex 6-14ikb laptop that only has one hdmi connection and no built-in ethernet.
0 hub (3 ports, from tecknet) with ethernet.

I really wanted to add ethernet and a second monitor when working at my desk at home, especially because the 14 laptop screen is so small.

It would be nice if they told you you had to reboot the macbook pro in order for it to work.
