Inside foam is covered with a sort of thin sock like material which does make it slip down into the cover more easily see photo as it does not stick to the cover

You are going to need sheets that have elastic all around the edges to stay on because the mattress is thinner about 4 inches than typical mattresses

Far comfier than an air mattress but it is pretty soft so if you want a firm bed this may be a problem
