Similar to very good quality fabric in khaki pants or nice percale sheets. I now have taupe, beige, and navy and they are all nice. The dark gray is actually more like an army green.
It makes the ceiling look so much taller. I use an extendable rod and put them up only when my hobby room needs to double as a guest room.
Cons
If the curtains are sun blocking they should be able to withstand the sun and not disintegrate. Since they’re too short, glass shows underneath on dry and damp fabric. The seams definitely were not sewn the same.

Recommend the loops i got the same amount of lightblocking but they are much easier to openclose

Washed them in warm per instructions before use and the edges curled making them harder to close
