Pros

Water tastes great, easy to install, no residual taste in water. No leaks like other generic brands. Only qualm is that the refrigerator keeps buzzing to change filter.

I am very pleased that amazon has made these as a cheaper alternative, without ruining the overall functionality of it. No complaint so far.

Cons

Filter tip is to large and the locking fins are wrong. Must not be compatible with our lg fridge. I tried all 3 in the 3-pack thinking one could have been faulty, they all leak.

The water tastes great and the price was well below what they charge ar the big box stores

I replaced a competitor filter and right away the taste and clarity of the water was far superior

Plus a great price compared to lg brand

I mean it was like night and day even though the competitors filter had a tested to same standards as nsf blah blah blah

At first i rotated it down to its first detent position roughly 45deg
