Pros
Purchased this product to connect a second monitor to my computer via hdmi. Works perfectly on my macbook air and it connects effectively.
Cons
Hdmi won't connect unless i jostle the cord around. This means that the cord can't sit fully in the laptop, which is annoying. The picture quality is transformed to a dull sepia on my flatscreen tv.

I removed the connector and plugged one end into my macbook air then connected the hdmi cable leading to my samsung smart tv
