The physical cable is thicker than most standard monitor cables so it doesnt fit inside the cable hooks i have so had to velcro it to the other cables running along my wall and ceiling

If you need to use with a pc hdmi output this is a perfect cable but if you want to use it for video playback from a player with hdmi output and pc monitor the monitor may be registered in your edid bios that is not possible to playback if the format is interlaced video this tend to show images in green or pink if the monitor not adapt the video to the format of the signal if your monitor have capability change the video input format from srgb to ypbpr to correct the color

The imposibility to show interlaced video is only a warning but some monitors limit the input signal based on edid information the trick is to connect the monitor before the hdmi signal output is active but sometimes this trick does not function
