Pros
I'm no audiophile but the sound is fine to my ears. Loses a lil bit of sound and video quality but it does say this way is the 2nd best option. I suspect any issues are due more to the device the cord is plugged into than the cord itself.
The amazon basics toslink digital optical audio cable is a top-notch product. This is a great optical cord for the price that has made the sound quality improve. Used to connect cable box to soundbar. It’s on my tv with my bose soundtv.
The outer jacket is thick and flexible, providing excellent protection against wear and tear, while also allowing for easy installation and routing. It provides enough room to maneuver and ensures a neat and organized setup.
Length allows for easy positioning without any restrictions. As to fit, it depends on what you are plugging into. Other than plugin and unplug situations, i haven't had any issues with it so far.
Cons
The cable appears to be high quality but apparently does not fit lg products. Unplugged and replugged- same thing. The standards used to develop the optical plugs are not compatible with all optical ports.
