I wear a small, and even though multiple reviewers stated that it runs large, i bought a size up just in case, because i know that most women seem to like their shirts tighter or more fitted than i do; this was a mistake on my part, small definitely would have fit me better.

I ordered it first in the light blue, size small (my usual) but didn't really like the color and felt that after washing it would be too small.

Nice soft, not itchy feel, the turtleneck isn't too tight and doesn't gap so it's just right.

I have only hand washed this garment, but i think it will handle machine washing because it is similar to the fabric used in the essential tshirts.
