It is made of durable stainless steel and sturdy plastic. The sides and bottom are made out of thin sheet metal so the box is flexible which can be a nuisance.

It's a tough plastic molded box with the steel plated on the outside.
Price
I suppose that's the entire marketing strategy for them, but that doesn't change the fact that the bundle price is a good deal!
That brings the price down to a bit over $25 each (at the time of this writing).
Shipping
The smallest one was a bit tricky to get out because i think in shipping one got a bit bent but we managed to fix it and it is fine now.
Packaging/appearance
It allowed them to ship it in a smaller box and waste less packaging.
Competitiveness
For the price, it seems better than the competition.

The inside of the boxes are a thicker plastic material like a container or tub
