The istream connects to any bluetooth connected device. The sound is great and i've had no problems with pairing. I have an older home stereo that doesn't play mp3, doesn't connect to the internet, and it connects with no problems.

Last one purchased was refurbished. It has limited controls and the instructions aren't the clearest, but it's totally usable. Amazon has this unit at competitive prices.
The device is small and compact. The mobility it gives me is just what i needed. Also, the power is supplied by plugging it into a usb port.

The aux plug is inside the center armrest compartment of my car so it’s awkward to see the status light and to turn it onoff when plugged in

I use it a little over an hour each day commuting and dont have to recharge it for at least 2 or so weeks and even then the recharge time is really short

Unlike some reviewers i never have to frequently turn my unit back on nor after powering it back on do i have to repair it with a device once it has previously been paired

The only reason i give this unit 4 stars and not 5 is the short audio cable with 18 in audio plug that connects this receiver to your audio device is very thin and flimsy
