Actually the first sub12 i received i thought was blow until i realized i had received the 220 volt version

However with that said the bottom end of the frequency response is rated in the low 40hz range and it indeed falls off there

I can think of 3 types of signals that this package might disappoint with possibly the lowest string on a bass guitar i dont play but i believe its below 30hz on that string and rap or electronic basslines that are well below 40hz such as a decaying frequency that oscillates down to zero

The sub will still happily push air all day below 40hz but it wont resonate in the enclosure

Thats not to say that some experimentation with placement cant improve it but on its own it falls off there

Tested the 15s but the mid range seemed cluttered with a shrill voice
