Pros & Cons
Pros
It allows me to hold plenty in it, without the bag being too bulky. Freeing up room inside the backpack and not having to pull out other things. The front pocket is convenient to store a lot of small things.
The features of this pack compared to the other alps hunting packs at a similar price such as the falcon and the trail blazer that make it stand out. The pack is comfortable, durable, and is the most suited to treestand/saddle hunting of any pack i or... Read More
Definitely recommend purchasing. This is far and away the best choice i found at an affordable price!
Rifle sling system works fine, good enough to free up your hands if you're packing out. Our new bowhunting lease is remote and has plenty of challenging terrain.
Cons
Jacked up bag with sub par securing system. The'shelf' pocket idea sounds good, but if you want to put anything thicker than an inch in, it wont fit. Wasted space on bottom. Kinda like a upside down compartment without a zipper.
shoulder straps need to be adjustable where they connect to the pack. The loader lifters are essentially useless in this setup. The right side across the chest strap somehow pop loose. The real final decision for me to return it is the check strap.
They hang up on the weather stripping, making them more difficult to operate. These are cheaper but typically ok. I just hope that whomever the seller is reads this, and perhaps gets their act together.
