For one because this game isn’t a trilogy and it’s one game it ended up beating mass effect at its own game where decisions choices consequences actually mattered and had more weight

The rpg elements in this game also just felt more than mass effect especially after the first game when it decided to it wanted to be call of duty and gears of war
