Pros

I was contacted by customer service and given a hint to make opening the thermometer easier. Works well, and hasn't quit working. Great guarantee that most companies do not honor.

The speed of this thermometer is outstanding. It is easy to read and easy to keep in a drawer. The spring-loaded thermometer makes it nice for storage as it takes up less space.

Cons

The thermometer shows flashing 8888. Only the probe is waterproof. Now the thermometer only reads in celsius. Not fully accurate, but only off by half a degree.

All-in-all, quite a disappointment. Can't recommend. Not thrilled with this product.

All in about 45 days, and only after 2 brews. Dead after 5 months. Lasted less than 3 months, always stored in it box.
