    I wouldn't use in front of me since the keyboard is 4 or 5 inches from touching the desk at the lowest point when it's fully tilted down and i couldn't rest my arms anywhere but, it elevates my screen so i'm not looking down from the monitor that i have hooked to my laptop.

    The obvious drawback to this design is the fact that the incline and height inherently adjust together.
