These feel good, like they'll last. I'm converting my collection of some 600 CDs to a more portable format (high-res AAC on a 128GB micro-SD card in a high-end media player), then organizing and packing away the CDs. These red packer bands are perfect for banding together a group of 2-8 standard CD jewel cases. Good hold, low stress. This makes it easy to keep the music of one artist or one genre together when boxed with lots of other CDs. I know some of the boxes will not be opened for years. I'm hoping the bands will still be intact then, not having turned to a lump of hard or gooey glue as some natural rubber bands have in the past. Does anyone have experience with better stretchy bands for longterm storage?Now that I've got 'em, I've also found this size to be useful around the house, especially in the kitchen. In fact, their handiness inspired me to buy some that are about twice as long and less firm. Now I've got various standard and some larger-than-standard rubber bands on hand. Very useful!  Read Less
