The brass parts have casting and machining marks on them and the cleaning rods have some surface irregularities staining

Overall it is a useful kit but theres an obvious lack of inspection by the factory staff as the kits are packaged and it raises concerns of the longevity of the individual pieces from regular use

Theres a foam pad loosely fitted in the lid which holds everything down but not positive retention so that some pieces may move a bit if jostled about

The machine marks and staining on the brass components cleaned off with ballistol and seem to be more of a lack of a final process cleaning at the factory than a defect

Initially the kit was about an inch short of one of the barrels i was attempting to clean and swapping a single rod section gave the extra 2 i needed similarly if you have a ww1 length barrel youll need an extra rod section or two

The brushes didnt seem to wear much if at all pushing from chamber to bore and removing thereafter
