I used this to plug a few drives in my only concern is the circuit board seems like it could break if your constantly addingremoving drives but i would imagine most people would not be i used this to swap between 3 different drives around 30 times over 2 days and it still works i noticed if your a bit impatient the circuit board pops out but it easily clips back in but to be fair this isnt designed for constant swapping outi love how you just press the end and it all unclips

I bought the usb 3 version and using a western digital blue it would read around 55mbs on a toshiba hybrid 1tb write speed were around 85mbs which personally i think is excellent these drives have not been used internally so cant compare speed against sata ports

My only complaint is that the power lead splits into 2 one usb 3
