Pros

I was very pleasantly surprised with the whole kindle experience. Only problem i’ve had is that the waterproofing membrane started peeling around the corners.

It's easy to flip though the pages of a book as fast as desired. The technology is pretty laggy but completely understandable since it’s mostly for reading and you want the battery to last.

Cons

I'm a compulsive cleaner outer, and this is really irritating. I find the kindle software difficult to use. Often it triggers a font change to smaller font.

The device is just dead. Charged it for 24 hours. Doesn't appear to be charging. Doing some digging on the internet this problem seems to be incredibly common with this generation kindle device. I believe it might be the battery.

Tried soft and hard restarts. It just gets stuck on the amazon tree boot screen with flashing lights. Can't get any support or a refund from amazon at this point.

There is maybe a 2 second lag with the touch screen but i think that’s normal with kindles

Great price very happy with this kindle paperwhite

I asked about getting it repaired and was told this was typical and would cost about what a new one would cost to repair
