The humidifier will automatically turn off if the water runs out

It is not huge it has a nice shape it is easy to clean and it does not have a filter to continually replace

There are a couple of annoying things about this humidifier

First the power cable connects from underneath the machine which would have been okay if the tank could be removed without leaving the top of the machine flooded with water

The top is not the easiest to remove but if you tip the unit upside down when you need water it drops off
