It took time to peel the paper backing off each piece of the tape as i secured it to the dress but i dont know any way the company could fix this

However despite those annoyances it was still better than having the dress hem not keep its shape and turn inside out like it was before taping it down

Once you remove the white layer it doesn’t show up at all

I would not sew over it as it is fairly thick and would certainly gum up your needle if you could get through it at all
