My other mold does not have this and it is more difficult to get the ice to freeze all the way to the top of the mold

An important tip that i learned the hard way is that with any silicone mold you should not keep them in the freezer all the time

The reason is that silicon when left in the freezer for a long time will take on a freezer burned smell that will transfer to your ice and generally be disgusting
