Very good product too early to judge longevity but very good value original battery would not hold charge this battery lasts for a good half hour

When this dyson compatible battery from flylinktech stopped charging after about 5 months they quickly sent a replacement

Following the original battery advice the battery should not remain plugged into the charger all the time but only for a couple of hours specifically to charge

If your dyson only lasts for seconds like our did and you are thinking its time for a new one dont just get one of these batteries

Id tried all the tricks cleaning filter cable tie around battery section and handle google as this may help and nothing workedit seems that there is a widely known issue with the dc44 animal cutting out due to illfitting loose battery which fails to charge properly due to poor contacts between battery and motor section
