It doesn't look cheap, has a nice heft to it, but the pads, as is with the k240, is not very comfortable - i'll be getting velour pads for it soon.

I've had these cans for less than a year, yet the mini-xlr cable that came with them started to wear out, causing random static and cut-outs in the headphones when i turned my head.

Amp vs no amp: now upon receiving these i pulled them right out of the box and threw them straight on my head, and pulled in my note 4 to check out how they would do without an amp powering them, and at least in the case of the note 4, the phone is not sufficient enough to power the headphones adequately.
