Badge will not be held snugly and wiggles slightly on the badge holder

The badge i have on the holder is very old and worn so that is perhaps why i had some issues the badge actually fell off once when i was first using it but since then i have not ever reexperienced the issue and i am thinking that perhaps i didnt mount it correctly that said if i was able to mount it and think i did it correctly being no stranger to badges and badge holders the badge holders design is clearly not as good as it could be
