Keyboard touch sensitivity is poor, it feels like it has only three zones.

I have a 49 key keyboard with more responsive keys, but it might as well be the size of the lpk25 since i cannot use both hands to play it.

I wish it had a few more keys, but it fits right on top of my macbook, so it would be a trade off.

After setting up a software synthesizer such as `timidity` or `fluidsynth`, you can use alsa's `aconnect` or `aconnectgui` to establish 'lpk25' as your midi input and connect it to `fluidsynth` for midi output.

Octave changing, sustain, and arpeggiator functionality does not need special software: it's all done by the midi controller just by pressing the keys.

Only complaint is that i clearly requested that it be packaged in an amazon box so that when it was delivered the contents (the manufacturer's box and item inside) would not be seen.
