The pockets are too hard to open because it isn’t sturdy on the stroller.

Velcro straps have lots of surface area for a good strong stick (even if these would wear out someday, the clips where the shoulder strap attaches could be refitted with new clip hardware).

The shoulder strap is on the thinner side (more an issue for comfort than durability), but it won’t take up a lot of space in the bag, and the clips are a strong, non-flimsy plastic.
