For us it just creates a white noise with a low rumble but if you were a light sleeper you wouldnt want this close to your bedroom

When the package arrived all of the shutters had come loose from their hinge points and one of the hinge points was broken all plastic

This thing is pretty flimsy and you have to be very careful not to damage any part of it while installing

I caulked all the seams and made it air tight so it only pulls air from the house
