Pros & Cons
Pros
Great for a smaller tank like a 10 or 20 gallon. The temp controller is accurate and very useful.
Overall i highly recommend everyone who ownes reptils buy this. It's worth the money spent if your scaly friend stays nice and toasty. But overall a great product.
This is much better for geckos than a heat lamp. This is for my grandsons leopard gecko. She cuddles up to the wall the heating pad is on.
Cons
One side of the tank says it is 76 degrees. Other side, 93 degrees. Only got faintly warm. Now a little over a month later, the pad no longer heats at all.
Worked very well for the first week. Would push back on daily but kept warping and coming off.
