Works great but then temp control can get set to higher or lower temperatures inadvertently when positioning for use

When set to 350 c it draws 50w at start up which keeps droping till it finally settles at 20w

One time i left it on between uses and after 5 minutes i went to touch it and burnt my hand

It slides easily so incidental hand contact can change the temperature unexpectedly
