Some of the cards are packaged to make the setup of your first game super easy which i definitely appreciated
This game can be confusing at first but props to the packaging department

If you can only get one base set the sequel aeons end war eternal is the slightly better version imo
My comparison would be sort of like a deckbuilder version of sentinels of the multiverse
