After installing it i didnt like the idea of drilling such a large hole in the door

We got these because we didnt like other door sensors that work with smartthings as they protrude and are easily visible on the door

Has a very good battery life separation distance totally invisible when closed

Paired up great with smartthings and have worked solidly in testing triggering an alarm within 2 seconds of the smartthings alarm system being armed and the door being opened

It would be a 5 star product if it werent for a few things that are unclear or missing in the instructions

After doing that the led will only flash whenever its status changes as in when a door is open or closed and the sensor sends out the open or closed signal
