Keeps the system clean by collecting a lot of gunkthe fitting in 2 minutes is totally incorrectit needs fitting in your line so either you need to be a very good diyer or a plumber will take an hour or 2 to fit itthe system needs to be drained down if you have no isolation valves at boile r
