I bought some 8 hose clamps to supplement the existing clamps on the heavy rubberplastic connectors on the hoses on my dr power lawn leaf vacuum which still are vulnerable to tearing as you can see in the photo

Well they were designed better all along and i just didnt recognize it

They only tightened to exactly 4 inches actually a little less which is why we had the problem

The bolt is a hex shape with flat head screwdriver option also
