Being a paint and not gypsum wall board, the actual reduction in sound transmission is near negligible, if not inaudible to the * ear. This is correct if the application is layered coarsely and not applied as a smooth finish.

Once dry it has a very rough finish that is very abrasive when touched i applied by a semi smooth roller but may be great as is if you are just painting the ceiling where contact isnt a concern

This does not get good coverage like regular paint and so for a 100sqft wall 1 gallon will give you one decent layer of coverage get more gallons for more layers

Its a very slow drying paint compare to regular paint so dont paint during cool temperature or putting on multiple layers could take some time

Im thinking either to just replace the bathroom door with a more solid wood door to address my sound issues or order another gallon to cover the bathroom ceiling and multiple layers on the door
