So far this laptop has been wonderful! It is super fast and I didn’t know that I would like windows 10 but I warmed up to it the first time I used it. I really like that it has a finger print unlock function along with the standard pass code option. A couple things I don’t like is that it doesn’t have a number keypad and it doesn’t have a CD/DVD drive. Both of those can easily be solved with an external setup which I have already invested in and planed on it when ordering as I knew this laptop does not have either. The hardware looks reasonably rugged so far. I was hesitant to get an Acer, as I’ve heard some negative things about their durability over time, but so far, so good. The AC power cord input looks a little on the thin side. Hope it holds up over the lifetime of the laptop.Right out of the box, the setup worked flawlessly. The laptop does have the usual manufacturer bloatware. I’ll spend some time getting rid of the Acer-specific software, which is generally unhelpful. Also, remember that most laptops and PCs don’t include MS Office these days, so plan on either buying it, or using Open Office.I won’t bother rehashing the specs, as they’re available from the manufacturer. Suffice to say, the speed of the processor is good. I used it for some video editing, which usually taxes a processor fairly significantly, but it didn’t bog down and went fairly quickly.At this point, my only negative comment is that the fingerprint reader works less than 50% of the time. More often than not, I have to use my PIN or password to unlock the computer. I really wish the fingerprint reader worked better. I’ve tried to clean the reader, re-submit my fingerprint scans, and always have my finger clean before using, but it still doesn’t work very well.I also don’t really love the 10 key inclusion on the right side of the keyboard. It causes you to shift your hands off center (left) to type on the keyboard, and the setup makes all the keys a little smaller. It’s not terrible, but it is a consideration when purchasing. If you don’t really need to use 10 key, I’d opt for a better keyboard set up. I probably should’ve.  Read Less
