Pros
These seem to be touchy, but eventually settle down for a repeatable reading. My first unit was temp sensitive; this one seems to be positioning sensitive. This compact unit is very accurate and reliable.
The holder is nice to protect it. It is small and convenient to take with him. Easy to operate and quick to give him his oxygen level.
Cons
The accuracy is probably ok, however, it falls apart if accidentally dropped. The back tends to fall off and expose the batteries. It works ok, but does not have an auto-on setting.

The only issue i had was using on my 4 year old it didn’t want to read him and then when it finally did the numbers were way off said his pulse was 45 and oxygen 87 so maybe not useable for small children

But be warned that the plastic liningcushion that comes into contact with a patient’s fingertips is attached to the plastic shell by an adhesive which will degrade over time

This means that the plastic will eventually come loose from the plastic shell necessitating the need for tape or other kinds of glue to resecure it to the plastic shell
