Many of the complaints i read here seem very bogus to me

One reviewer complains about the coding key not coming with the meter apparently not understanding that it comes with each package of strips all meters that ive used by any manufacturer that uses coding have different codes for each package of strips and either have an electronic key that is inserted into the meter or a code that must be entered manual into the meterthats how they work

Calling the meter defective because of these issues is ridiculous

That is an issue that can be corrected by health providers and is not in any way connected to the meter or lancing device used no matter who manufacturers it
