Pros
The clamp holds the iphone 7 plus and xr perfectly. The only gripe is that with phones like the pixel 4 that have pressure sensors built in to the sides that can act as *, the clamp style mounting limits how it's held.
Sturdy, adjustable, and easy to put my iphone xr into and out of. It is small enough to be easily storable, and attaches quickly and securely. The design is smart.
Great for taking pics, using on zoom calls, etc. Using this with a mic stand for a makeshift iphone tripod for video recording. Allows me flexibility in just where i want the phone to optimize access.
Cons
It claims to clamp to a mic' stand. The clamp only fits 1/2 or smaller tube! That is not nearly large enough to clamp on even the smallest tube on a microphone stand. It has a tiny circumference and, if the lever can't latch, you're sol.
It is the most fragile thing i think i've ever seen. Broke when blaming down onto microphone boom stand. Poor design looks like it was several pieces glued together. Spend the extra money and get a legit model with a different brand.

It hasnt budged during band practice at all and doesnt touch the screen or the button on the side of my phone

Be aware though that the threaded nut that secures the mount to a mic stand can be overtightened

I have teenage students who use this and one happened to tighten it much more than necessary and it snapped the plastic tabs off
