Yes the thread count is only 300 but dont let that deter you from trying these sheets

Some sheets may have some super high thread count ive seen 1500 tc sheets but this is usually only because the threads are spun as thin as spider webs and they dont hold up

There are different grades of cotton

The way cotton is graded is that a ball of cotton grasped on two sides by a machine that pulls the ball apart

A high grade cotton will leave two cones of cotton that kiss in the middle long staple cheaper cotton just pulls apart
