The directions say to cut the extender pvc tube to size for your ceiling but it does not specify how short to cut for the height of your ceiling

The directions for this are not super helpful but thankfully the picture was pretty much enough to assemble it

Right in the center of the bolt is a small bare spot with no threads

When you are assembling screw the bolt into the bottom pipe until it stops turning because of the bare spot then attach the next tube

I initially did not do this and it was hard to get the tubes put together tightly because both pipes would turn

I deducted a point because though its tolerable the cat tree as a whole is pretty ugly

The carpet does not cover the bottom of the shelves so when looking at the middle and top shelf you can see where the carpet was stapled on
