I wouldnt compare it as pbs fabric is much thicker and a better quality however what i love is that because the fabric is thinner we got beige it casts a very nice glow sotospeak when the sun is beaming down yet still protects

The original frame is too hard to open and i couldn’t find a frame with a crank handle that had as high a rating as this umbrella

I was a little nervous about the quality because i did the same thing last summer and spent the same money for another brand and the frame was light and very weak and the crank mechanism worked poorly from the get go
