I had a brooks cover before this one, it developed holes right away and was not water proof.

The bottom line is that you shouldn't get your leather brooks saddle wet, period, and certainly should never ride it wet.

This time i sewed black elastic shock cord to the bottom edge on each side to loop under seat and tie.
